Esta subvenci\u00f3n forma parte del&nbsp;<strong>Fondo Europeo de Desarrollo Regional (FEDER)<\/strong>&nbsp;a trav\u00e9s del&nbsp;<strong>Programa Operativo FEDER<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>BIOCAPS<\/strong>&nbsp;es un proyecto que encapsular\u00e1 probi\u00f3ticos en&nbsp;<strong>prote\u00ednas vegetales<\/strong>, libres de al\u00e9rgenos. Nucaps Nanotechnology va a desarrollar microc\u00e1psulas innovadoras de bacterias probi\u00f3ticas basadas en el uso de prote\u00ednas vegetales libres de al\u00e9rgenos que les otorgar\u00e1n caracter\u00edsticas tecnol\u00f3gicas avanzadas para los sectores alimentario, nutricosm\u00e9tico y nutrac\u00e9utico. Este proyecto parte de los desarrollos previos basados en prote\u00ednas diet\u00e9ticas en los proyectos&nbsp;<strong>NANOCAPS, BIOFOOD<\/strong>&nbsp;e&nbsp;<strong>INMUNOCAPS<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El proyecto est\u00e1 enmarcado en el sector&nbsp;<strong>\u201cSalud\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;de la estrategia de especializaci\u00f3n inteligente&nbsp;<strong>S3<\/strong>, en la tecnolog\u00eda estrat\u00e9gica&nbsp;<strong>\u201cBiotecnolog\u00eda\u201d<\/strong>, y responde al reto de&nbsp;<strong>\u201capostar por una alimentaci\u00f3n saludable\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Probi\u00f3ticos para el consumo humano, la principal aplicaci\u00f3n del producto<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"tw-target-text\">La principal aplicaci\u00f3n de este producto ser\u00e1n los\u00a0<strong>probi\u00f3ticos para el consumo humano<\/strong>. El mercado de los probi\u00f3ticos, microorganismos vivos que, cuando se administran en cantidades adecuadas, aportan un beneficio para la salud, tiene un gran potencial y su aceptaci\u00f3n ha crecido r\u00e1pidamente con m\u00e1s de\u00a0<strong>60 millones de consumidores en todo el mundo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"tw-target-text\">Seg\u00fan la&nbsp;<strong>International Probiotics Association (IPA)<\/strong>, se espera que el valor de las ventas mundiales alcance los&nbsp;<strong>74 mil millones de d\u00f3lares<\/strong>&nbsp;para 2024, y los consumidores demandan nuevas formas de consumo m\u00e1s c\u00f3modas y convenientes: en bebidas, en productos estables a temperatura ambiente, en alimentos funcionales y enriquecidos, a precios accesibles que permitan una mayor popularizaci\u00f3n de su consumo.
