Dr. Ana Luisa Martínez-López joins the Nucaps team
Nucaps’ team continues growing. Recently Ana Luisa Martínez-López, who studied Chemistry-Bacteriology-Parasitology at the Autonomous University of Chihuahua (Mexico) has joined the company. She received an MSc degree and international Ph.D. with a specialty in biopolymers from the Center for Research in Food and Development A.C. México. Her research was focused on natural biomaterials and their biomedical applications.
Since 2016 she joined as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technology of the University of Navarra (UNAV) and she has served as a Research collaborator in multidisciplinary projects for the development of new nano delivery systems in order to administer bioactive compounds through biological barriers.
She has published around 31 papers in scientific peer-reviewed journals, 10 book chapters and two issued inventions covered by patents. Dra Martínez-López since 2016 has been a National Researcher recognized by the National Council of Science & Technology of Mexico (CONACyT).
Her incorporation to Nucaps´ Team is supported by the prestigious grant “Torres Quevedo” of the State Programme for the Promotion of Talent and its Employability in R&D&I, which selects the best international researchers and that is financed by the Spanish Government and the European Union Funds NextGenerationEU.
